This post is an edited transcript from our live support system.

Charlotte: Are Ritek CDrs good quality for recording on etc
Big Dave: Hi Charlotte
Charlotte: hi
Big Dave: Yes, the Ritek discs are pretty good
Big Dave: they are not the best you can get in terms of quality
Big Dave: but they are graded to "A" standard
Big Dave: they are some of our most popular discs though - and we've had very few complaints about them
Big Dave: however if you're burning audio CDs - one tip i can give you is to burn the discs slower (up to a maximum of 24x)
Big Dave: this reduces the number of errors that appear on the disc, and you're more likely to have a successful burn
Charlotte: does that tip apply to all CDrs or just the ritek ones
Big Dave: that applies to all CDs actually
Charlotte: ok and what CDrs would you reccommend that are better than Ritek
Big Dave: if you burn audio discs at 52x for example - you're more likely to get tracks skipping and jumping - and playback will sound strange
Big Dave: well the "best" cd-s you can get are made my Taiyo Yuden
Big Dave: http://shop.cd-writer.com/catalog/advan ... aiyo+yuden
Big Dave: it does mean of course they are more expensive - but you're far less likely to get errors
Charlotte: Can I confirm that the Taiyo Yuden 48x thermal full face printable have a white printable surface
Big Dave: do you have the MPN code there please?
Big Dave: and do you need thermal printable discs - or inkjet printable discs?
Charlotte: MPN: CDR80WPT100SK
Charlotte: ink jet
Charlotte: We are a recording studio and all I need is CDs that are reliable and we can print the clients name and details on etc.
Big Dave: ok - well the discs you'd need inkjet printable discs then, not thermal. then are these:
Big Dave: http://shop.cd-writer.com/catalog/taiyo ... 19819.html
Charlotte: ok, thanks... i will buy those
Big Dave: anything else I can help with?
Charlotte: nope
Big Dave: ok - bye for now!
