Installing A Hard Drive Into A StorDigital 3 disk duplicator

Postby Spuddyboy » Fri Aug 07, 2009 3:24 pm

Hi,

I have a StorDigital duplicator which duplicated 3 discs at a time. I am currently needing to duplicate 50+ copies of the same disk.

So I am assuming installing a hard drive into the duplicator and creating an iso on the hard drive to write to each disk would be the best way rather than the disk having to be scanned each time I want to duplicate?

If this is the case how do you go about installing a hard drive? Is it as simple as replacing one of the DVD drives? Or can I install it in addition to the 3 writing drives that I currently have?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Adding HD to StorDIgital Duplicator

Hi

The HDD can be added to a spare port on the IDE cable to the reader drive. YOu will have to sort out the master slave configuration. Alternatively contact www.stordigital.com/support/ for un upgrade to your unit that will not void your warranty.
